Using American Credit and ATM cards

My girlfriend and I are going to be in China this summer for about 2 months. During this time we will be in some more rural areas of southern China in Yunnan and Guangxi provinces. Will we be able to access our money using our credit and ATM cards? We obviously don't want to carry around 2 months worth of cash.

Doug

Doug, usually Chinese ATMs support credit or debit cards with Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Cirrus, Visa Electron logos. Just in case, if your cards have visa or mastercard logos, you should not have a problem when withdrewing money.
