transportation inside the emei complex

Question

hello, we have an elderly person in our group and will rent a car and a driver from ChengDu.  How far can the car go inside the Emei complex?  Or does it need to be left at the gate?

If you go there during public holidays, the car needs to be stopped outside.Under normal circumstance, cars can go inside. It is allowed to go to Leidongping (half way to the top) for most.
