Guangzhou to Lijiang by Fast Train

Hello, I'm wondering if there is a train that goes from Guangzhou to LJ? I'm trying to avoid taking airplanes if possible. Thanks!

Well, there is no direct train that operates between these two places. You need to transfer at Kunming. From Guangzhou to Kunming, normal speed trains take 24 hours. From Kunming to LJ, it takes 8 to 9 hours. The whole way takes too long. So taking a plane is a better choice for you. :-)
