Rasika, the first step you need to follow is to prepare all necessary documents, including: a valid passport, a photocopy of the data page of the passport, an application form glued with a personal photo taken within six months, a letter from the local travel agency or other travel organizer, an “Invitation Letter for Tourist” from Chinese Tourist Bureau, travel itinerary, and less than three pages of the copy of Financial support document or copy of latest three months’ personal bank statement. Then take the documents to the embassy and apply for an L type.1
