Well, you are suggested to take train. You can take train from Dongguan East Station to reach JY. The train T8364 starts at 09:37 at Dongguan East and reach JY at 15:05. The ticket fare for soft sleeper is CNY165.5, for hard sleeper is CNY108.5.
From Zhangmuto to the East Train Station, you can take a taxi at a cost of CNY20-30.1
