About:Visa Policy of China

Can he apply for tourist visa without an invitation letter?

My boss, a company Chairman who has traveled to China many times before on business wants to take his family for a holiday in early April 2015. He has booked the flights and hotel online and does not have an invitation letter from the hotel. He has a confirmed hotel reservation.

Hello Harshi! The invitation letter from the hotel is not necessary. However, does your boss hold a Sri Lankan passport? If so, a letter from the local travel agency or other travel organizer and an “Invitation Letter for Tourist” from Chinese Tourist Bureau are required to submit. He can get theses letters with the help of travel agencies.
