Hong Kong to Luo Yang

Hi,

I am planning on travelling by train from Hong Kong to Luoyang. Last year I found a train that would travel from Hong Kong to Zhengzhou, and then we planned on getting a bus to Shaolin. Can you let me know if there is a better way to get to Luoyang?

Thanks

It seems that there is no direct rail service to Zhgnzhou from HK. Maybe you need to go from HK to Shenzhen or Guangzhou first and then take high speeds to Luoyang directly.

Thank you for your prompt reply.

Do you know if there are any visa restrictions for rail travel within mainland China?

It would only ask for your passport for rail service. You do not need to show your visa for that, but it is needed for enter mainland off course. As I know, only traveling in Tibet asks for travel permit. No limitation for other cities.
