which foreign currency is most easiest to convert into chinese currency in tibet?

we are going to travel to Tibet for a month, and would like to know which currency to take with us.GB pounds or US dollar to be converted into chinese currency at various towns along the way?

If possible, prepare or exchange enough Chinese yuan for use. Anyway, by contrast, it is easier to exchange from USD to RMB in that area.
