into Beijing onto Hong kong. Would the Friday flight need to be by a certain time?

Hi,
Does a flight into Beijing (from the uk) on a Tuesday lunchtime and out of Beijing to Hong Kong on a Friday qualify for a 72hr visa for a UK passport holder?
Thanks

Yes, the flight schedule qualifies for the 72 hrs free transit policy, but you should get an onward flight ticket with confirmed seat date and departure.
