About:Power Plugs / Sockets in China

shifting from Malaysia to Beijing. I'm moving to Beijing soon.

Wanted to ship all my home appliances and electrical product to Beijing. Want to know what do I need to do, install transformer at house main electric box or at all individual cable point or otherwise, please advice. many thanks to you.

Kenny, there are many options for you. If you plan to save your money, you may go to local post office and then choose to send your parcel by plane or by ship. Or you may contact some international express companies like Fedex and ask them to send your parcel to Beijing. Usually your national post charges less then intenational express companies. However, it may take longer time.

If you have something valuable, I do think you should buy the insurance in case your parcels are lost on the way.
