How to pack for two week China trip? What clothes and what type suitcase are best?

Steve, when do you come to visit China? Where do you plan to visit? You need to prepare clothes according to the locations and weather conditions. For example, if you visit northern cities in winter, you should bing thick clothes. If you come in summer, you just need to bring Th-shirts, jeans and thin jacket.2

Traveling between Apr 13 and Apr 27. Shanghai, Beijing, Yangtze River, Xiang. I need to know expected weather conditions and proper suitcase to iuse.2

Well, the temperature in Shanghai, Beijing, Xian and Yangtze River are higher, more than 20 Celsius Degrees. So you just need to bring light clothes, T-shirts, shirts, jeans, jacket or windcoat. But it might rain sometimes. So umbrella or raincoat is needed. Therefore, I don't think you need to bring a very big suitcase unless you plan to buy many souvenirs for your families.2
