About:Chinese Embassies in Africa

visa requirements from Chinise embassy in DRC

I am a Congolese (DRC) working for UN in Bunia. I need a tourist type, do I need to go personally to embassy in Kinshasa to apply or i can apply through a friend or travel agency.

Francine, you can either submit your application directly to the Chinese consulate department or assign your friend or an agency to submit your application on your behalf. The required documents are:
1. valid passport with two blank pages and six months validity at least
2. finished 2013 version application form
3. a recent six months passport photo
4. round-trip air tickets and hotel booking. Or an invitation letter
5. financial proof, such as recent six months bank statement

It takes four working days to process your application.
