Haiti Citizen but US Resident, is this okay for an L Visa?

Hello, I am planning to travel to China in May for about 2 weeks to visit a friend. I'm a US permanent resident (green card) but my country of citizenship is Haiti. Will this pose any difficulties obtaining a tourist type in New York?

Charles, I think you still have a big chance of getting your L type because of your green card. Except your passport, application form and a passport photo, round-trip air tickets and hotel booking are needed. For you, you may submit a copy of your green card too. Good luck!
