About:China Consulate in Houston

traveling to china as a tourist for two weeks

i am going to china on april 9th for two week as a tourist. i live in houston. I'm a us citizen and have a passport. what do i take to the consulate? do i need hotel info and flight, passport? can i get it the same day?

Elias, you should bring your passort, completed application form, a recent passport photo, round-trip air-tickets and hotel booking. Yes, same-day pick up is available. However, you need to be approved by the consulate for applying with rush service. Meanwhile, you should submit your application in the morning before 11:30.
