working permit to china

Hello,
Im lynn. A family friend in china want to hire me to take care their son and im here in Cyprus. what they need to do and what documents they need so they can get the working permit for me and how long i can stay there? im non Cypriot citizen. and if i get a travel visa, how long i can stay and what documents i need?

Arlene, as Chinese family do not have the qualification for hiring foreigners, I'm afraid your friend cannot get the work permit for you by legal ways. If you want to apply for a toursit type enry permit, the longest time for you to stay in China may be only one month. The document you need to submit include your passport which has at least six months' validity and two or more blank pages, a photocopy of your passport's photo page, a completely and truly filled application form, a recently-taken half-length color photo, the original and photocopy of your Cypriot residence permit or stay permit, and an invitation letter from your friend. In the letter, your freind cannot indicate your intention of working for him. Otherwise, the application may be rejected.
