About:Hong Kong Long-Distance Bus

Liaobu, Dongguan to Hong Kong

does anyone know if there is a centrally located bus terminal in Dongguan that goes to Jordan Road in Kowloon, HK?

Head from Liaobu to Dongguan. At Dongguan Hotel Silverland (no. 48, Guantai Main Road, Nancheng District) and Overseas Hotel (no. 14, West Yunhe 1st Road), you can take a direct bus to HK. The dropping off sites are Kowloon Tong, Prince Edward and Mong Kok.

Thank you Ann. We also found out that there is a "bullet train" that also goes directly to Hong Kong. Fare info isn't terribly clear since it says 73/145. It takes 1 hr 14 min which is quite fast.

Well done! You are right with the train travel. You should go to Changping Railway Station, which is around 9mi from Liaobu to take the train. Trains to HK are available from 09:03 to 21:14 (ten trains in total) and it takes 1h and 14min indeed.
