Longmen Grottoes and Shaolin Temple please

Hi, which one the more closer from Beijing West Railway Station to Zhengzhou East RW or Longmen RW? my destiny just 2 places only (Longmen Grottoes& Shaolin Temple ) If arrive Longmen RW must be going to Luoyang Railway Station to find LY Long distance bus to going Shaolin Temple duratin 2,5 hours? it right? costs 20-30 RMB if arrive Zhengzhou East RW must be going to ZZ Bus Station (opposite ZZ RW) to find directly bus to Shaolin Temple? Which one is closer& more convinence, I'm single traveler, is it safety? Thanks

It’s impossible for you to finish these two sites in one day if traveling by bullet train from Beijing. So here is my recommendation:
Day 1: Take a bullet train from Beijing west to LY Longmen Railway station. It will be noon when you arrive there if departing in the morning. Upon arrival, visit Longmen grottoes in the afternoon. BTW, the night view at the scenic area is also amazing. After, go back to downtown area and stay overnight in LY, better near the long-distance bus station.
Day 2: Take a bus from LY long-distance bus station to Shaolin temple. In the afternoon, take a long-distance bus to Zhengzhou Bus Station (opposite ZZ RW). And then take a bullet train from ZZ RW back to BJ. The last bullet train leaves at 19:45.
