About:Requirements for Permanent Residence Permit

What Are my chances of getting a permanent visa for China?

I am married to a Chinese Citizen for more than 5 years. I work abroad in the oil business so my work takes me out of the country for more than 7 months of the year. We own two properties in China. No police convictions, and financially stable.

David, in theory, if you want to apply for the permanent residence permit, you should have lived in China for five consecutive years and shall live in China no less than nine months every year. Therefore, I think there might be some troubles for you to get the Chinese green card. However, as you possess two properties, I suggest you give it a shot. A guy who has got the green card says as long as you have a house, it is possible to get it.
