is there alternative transportation at public ferries to join hong kong airport from

Hello, We are going to HK for a few days and we extend our stay at Dong'Ao Island (which is in Republic of China). We would like to know if there are some taxi boat or private boats that we can use to go directly from HK to Dong'Ao Island and then go back to HK Airport at the end of our stay?Must we take the public ferry or there is other options ?Thank you very much for your reply.FP

There is no direct public or private ferry from HK to the Island, you need to reach there through Xiangzhou or Hengqin Port in Zhuhai.take a ferry from China Ferry Terminal or HK-Macau Ferry Terminal to Zhuhai Jiuzhou Port. Then take a taxi to Xiangzhou Port, about CNY22 and 4.8 miles. When you go back to the airport, you need to go through Zhuhai, too. Take a ferry from the Island to Xiangzhou Port, and then take a taxi to Jiuzhougang Port, where you cna take a ferry to HK airport.
