Why was the Great Wall Of China Built? Who did it protect and who did it protect them from?

Justice. The wall was built to keep out the invaders. The massive construction started during the reign of Emperor Qinshihuang. He ordered to build the wall to protect its people from the Hun's invasion from the north.
