should i forget him an move on or shall i keep waiting him?

Hi im elstren from the philippines i have a question pls answer me if you can i had a misunderstanding of my boyfriend he said we need space for at least 2 months i agree of him after 2 months he did not come back i feel upset everyday i want to forget him and move on but it seems its very hard for me.
I was born on oct.6 1986 and he was feb.26 1979 my question is is there any chance both of us to be together or shall i forget him?
