Steven, as a Malaysian passport holder, you enjoy a 30-day allowed stay in Macau without the need for applying an entry permit, so you don't need it. You firend does not need it for Macau also for a stay less than 30 days. If she holds a Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents, she can stay in Hong Kong for seven days without the entry permit too.
