Is there a direct bus from Yichang to Zhangjiajie after 2pm? How much, and how long is the trip?

Arriving YC city from cruise about 1pm June 9th 2015. Want to get to Zhangjiajie. Have heard I can take a taxi, but as a solo traveller this seems expensive. Is there a direct bus that won't be too complicated for a non-Mandarin speaker to catch? When does it leave, where from and how long does it take?

I heard direct buses to Zhangjiajie are available at YC Long-distance Bus Station and they are all buses departing from Wuhan, so the schedule is not fixed. For further info, I suggest you go to the Bus Station to consult further.

Or you have to take a train to go. Due to your time, the train leaving at 01:05am (in the next morning) is suitable. It takes about 4 hours 40 minutes to reach. The ticket price for soft sleeper is CNY135.5, for hard sleeper is CNY89.5.
