taxibus to the city centre near bell tower

Hi everyone,I am a first time traveller to Xian and would really appreciate any useful information on airport transfers.  I am going to be staying very close to the Bell tower in Zhubashi Beilin district opposite street of Bell tower and want to know how convenient is it to get there from the airport.  If I take a taxi what would be the likely cost (36 km from airport) and is a shuttle bus any good and likely to drop me off near the location.  It would be great if anyone could provide any information as my mandarin skills are pretty weak and I tend to worry about the dreaded journey to and from the airport, thank you in advance.

You can take the airport shuttle bus railway station line to Longhai Hotel. Then take a taxi to the hotel, about 2.4 miles and CNY10. If you take a taxi the whole way, it may cost you CNY120 around.
