petting pandas

hello I was wondering if they have started allowing petting of pandas yet I'm travelling their in October and would love to pet 1

Well, as far as I know, due to the recent outbreak of distemper in the pandas in China, pictures with pandas and cubs has been suspended. I don't know if they will allow it in the future either.At that time, you are suggested to confirm and check again this activity. You can contact the authority see whether they recover this program.
