Leandra, Han Dynasties include Western and Eastern Han. After the decease of Eastern Han Dynasty, three kingdoms period came, included are Wei, Shu and Wu.In 263,Liu Shan surrendered to Wei. In 265, Sima Zhao, the king of Wei died. His son Sima Yan ascended to the throne and established Jin, called Western Jin in China’s History. In 280, Western Jin defeated Wu Kingdom and unified China.
In 316, Western Jin ended and was split into 16 states. The chaos was ended by Northern Wei, which finally unified Northern China in 439. Northern Wei was divided into Eastern Wei and Western Wei in 534. Eastern Wei was replaced by Northern Qi while Western Wei was overthrown by Northern Zhou.
In 317, Sima Rui established Eastern Jin in Southern China. However, it was replaced by Song in 420. In 479,Southern Qi overthrew Song and built Southern Qi. It was replaced by Liang in 502. Liang was replaced by Chen in 557.
See, Northern Zhou and Southern Chen ruled northern and southern China separately. Later, Yang Jian overthrew Northern Zhou in 581 and established Sui Dynasty. In 589, he led his army to defeat Southern Chen. From that moment, China was unified again.
