About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cairns- Beijing (via Hong kong for less than one hour)-hong kong-London

If my flight from Cairns to Beijing necessitates a change of plane in Hong Kong (less than one hour transit within the airport) , can I then return to hong kong in 72 hours as a 3rd destination to go to next flight to London within the 72 hour visa rules?

Thanks

Sorry, your route isn't qualified for 72 hours free transit because you depart from HK to Beijing and then go back to HK again.
