About:Former Residence of Lu Shaoxu

what condition is needed for applying a double entry visa of 6 months per entry or a 12 months one?

I am a UK resident, I have been granted a double entry of 30 days in the past, and used only one entry. I am visiting my beloved girlfriend who is a Chinese permanent resident. Any suggestions and reply is appreciated.

Zhu, I don’t think you can get a double-entry permit with each entry lasts for six months or even longer. If you really want to get a long-term entry permit, you can try to find or job in China and apply for the Z type entry permit. Alternatively, you can get married with your girlfriend and then apply for an S type entry permit.

Thank you for you reply. We are going to get married soon, I guess I would need to apply for the type S type then. What are the procedures and how long would it take? As I know I would need time to transfer all my money over to buy a house and for living. Also can I apply this in Hong Kong's Chinese embassy? I have a second question, as I have been granted a double entry one 2 months ago and it does not expire until the end of April, I am going across the end of this month, can I void this 30 day one and apply for a double entry longer duration one? thanks in advance.
