About:Visa Application for Children Born in US with Chinese Parents

what a USA born minor (with parents live in China) need for traveling between China and US

My niece was born in US, her parents took her back to china at age of two. Now she is 12 year old. left her parents and lives with my family (American citizens). My niece has US passport and Chinese passport. What she needs to do in Consulate for traveling back to China

She needs to apply for a Chinse visa at the consulate. According to your description, I believe it's the first time for your niece to apply for it, so she need to submit the following materials:
1. The US passport and a phtocopy of its data page.
2. An application form attached with her recently taken photo. The form should have the singature of either of her parents.
3. The original and phtocopy of her birth certificate.
4. The original and phtoocopy of her parents' passports.
5. Invitation letter from her parents.
6. Other documents require by the embassy.

However, if her parents haven't got Green Card, the embassy may not issue Visa for the child but only give her the travel document.
