About:Lhasa Travel

we are doing a ten day trek beginning and ending in Lhasa

how would you advise spending a few days to relax and prepare for our hiking?

Hi there. According to the regulation, all foreign travellers are forbidden to enter Tibet area since Feb. 15, 2015 and the reissuing time is not decided yet, so you may be unable to do the treck through LS. Probably you can take other hiking routes.

Thank you for your reply. From what our understanding is, the closing of borders is an annual occurance taking place from mid February to late March. Travel is usually permitted from April.
