From where you are, take a taxi to Shanghai Railway Station in 10-15min at the cost of around CNY20. There you can easily take a high-speed train to SZ in half an hour. The second class seat costs CNY24.5-39.5 and the first class seat costs CNY28.5-59.5.

Hi Yoyo
Thanks for reply, I am bit confused which railway station shall I take the train for SZ. Is it the one in Zhabei- Shanghai Railway station? Which train is it G or D? And is it cheaper if I book train tickets online in advance?

Yes, it is at Shanghai Rail Station in Zhabei District that you can take an express train to your destination. Both G and D trains are available at the station and the former is faster and costs more.

If booking online, the ticket fare is the same as you buy at the train station. For the booking through an agent, you need to pay some service as well. Well, many trains are in service for the route. It is actually unnecessary to book in advance.
