Visa X2 can be used to enter hongkong?

I have a transit flight in hongkong (from jakarta to beijing) and i have a chinese X2 type for student. I plan to visit my friend in hongkong while i'm waiting for my connecting flight to beijing. Is it possible for me to go outside hongkong airport using my X2?

Ricky, you can not use your X2 type for your Hong Kong transit. However, you shouldn't worry about it. Indonesians with valid passports enjoy 30 days free stay in HK if they come to HK for travel or transit purpose.
