About:Visa Policy of China

Please advise me what kind of visa I need and advise me of the procedure.

I am an Australian and want to travel to Hong Kong then China mainland.

Miranda, you just need one for mainland. Australians enjoy 90 days free stay in HK. You need to submit your application to the CVASC branch that has jurisdiction in your area. It requires your passport, filled application form, a recent six months passport photo, round-trip air tickets and hotel booking.
