About:Religion & Culture of Yuan Dynasty

musical instruments of Yuan dynasty today

Can one find the musical instruments Urheen, Huobusi, Sheng, and Sanxian in todays modern China or Mongolia? What are the instruments called today? What about the horse head fiddle?

Of course you can find them in the modern society. Most of them have the same spelling name as before, such as Huobusi, Sheng, and Sanxian. BTW, we call the Urheen as Er’hu or Huqin, and the Horse Head Fiddle as Matouqin.
