visit family in pu tien

Question

Hi, We want to visit my auntie in pu tien for 3 days. we arrive at Xiamen at saturday. then we would like to go to Guangzhou and take a tour.  what interesting destination between XM or pu tien to guangzhou? we back from guangzhou to jakarta the next saturday. totally about 8 days. any suggestion? (destination from XM to Guangzhou and surrounding GZ, transportation better by bullet train or rent a car for 7 people, meal, etc)thanks.

Oh, I understand, you will go to Putian first to visit your auntie and stay there for three days. And then you will go to Guangzhou or Xiamen or surrounding areas for tour in 5 days.Here are my personal ideas: Day 1: Gulangyu Island of Ximen Day 2: As there is no direct bullet train from Xiamen to Guangzhou, you can go to Shenzhen first (about 3.5hrs by bullet train) in the early morning and visit Window of the World and Splendid China if time permits. After, you can stay overnight in Shenzhen and head for Guangzhou next day; or you can take another bullet train to Guangzhou (about 30 minutes on the way) and stay the night in GZ.In the following days, you can enjoy yourselves in GZ. You can visit Yuexiu Park,Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall, Ancestral Temple of the Chen Family, take a night cruise over Pearl River, and taste local food at Shangxiajiu Road…
