I lost my original Chinese passport. what should I do to get Chinese visa?

I was born in China, this is my first time for getting back for a visit.

Hello Ying! After you lost your passport, did you go and report to the police? If yes, you can ask the police to issue you a passport loss certificate. Then take it to the embassy and apply for the China entry permit.
