Zondra, you need to prepare your passport (with at least six months' remaining validity and two blank pages), a photocopy of the passport's data page, an application form, a passport style photo taken within six months, the original and photocopy of your student certificate or residnece permit in Thailand, and roundway tickets and accommodation orders for China.
