appreciate if anyone can help me? i am in a rush for time. i need to fly to SH on 10 mac and return to sg on mar 16. can anyone advise me what is a better option? upon reaching there go straight  to suzhou stay 2 days and back to the city for 5 days then fly bad to sg, or should i stay in SH 1st for 5 days then go suzhou? i heard that SH, suzhou and hangzhou r pretty near to each other, possible to squeeze 3 places in 7 days? what r the time and mode needed to travel from SH to suzhou and hangzhou and vice versa? is it better to book hotel 1st then fly over or should i just book suzhou hotel and when i am in shanghai then i book hotel? pls help. i am in a dilemma.

Yes, you are right that the three places are near to each other and the transportation between is very convenient. Therefore, it is possible to visit three of them in seven days. After landing at PVG, I'd suggest you take the direct long-distance bus to Hangzhou first and stay 1-2 days there. After visiting, take a high-speed train to Suzhou in around 1.5h. Have fun for 2 days in Suzhou and take a high-speed train to SH to enjoy yourself in the rest time. You can search the detailed train schedule on the train page of this website. Although it is not during peak season, I suggest you prebook hotels in the three cities in case of any unexpected factor.
