Travel with passport copy

Hello there,
My passport is @ Germany embassy in Beijing for Schengen visa. I have to fly to Urumqi Hohhot for 2 days then back. So my question is will i be able to fly without passport?...just Passport copy and receipt from Germany Embassy.Am a Resident in china with working permit.Thanks

According to the policy, you can use passport, residence permit for foreigner, exit-entry permit for foreigner for boarding.
