About:China Visa on Arrival

Entry visa to China at port of entry

I am a German citizen with a resident permit in South Korea and want to visit China as a tourist for not to exceed 5 days.
Can I get an VOA without an application process in at the Chinese Embassy in Seoul?

Werner, under normal circumstances, the VOA can only be secured at Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Xiamen, Shantou, and Hainan. Besides, with the VOA, you can only stay in the city from where you enter China. So I don't suggest you apply for the VOA. You had better apply for a tourist L type at the embassy.
