About:Guangzhou Railway Station

Getting to Shenzhen from Guangzhou

I will be landing in Guangzhou Baiyan airport and I need to go to Shenzhen. Please let me know which station is nearest and is the best to go to Shenzhen? I see there is GZ, GZ East, GZ North and South.
Also, is it better to purchase tickets on the spot since I am landing there on Monday afternoon

You can choose GZ or GZ East. You can take the suhttle bus to Guangzhou which takes about 90min. And you can take the subway Line 3 to Guangzhou East which is about 1 hour or shuttle bus which is about 2 hours. You can buy the ticket on spot, but you still need to check the availbility often.
