About:Chinese Consulates in Japan

i wanna go to shanghai. can i go apply visa in person?

I am a filipina holding permanent resident living in nagoya.

Yes, you can apply for it at the consulate in person. Prepare the following application documents beforehand: a valid passport, a photocopy of the passport, an application form, a recently-taken color bareheaded photo, the original and photocopy of your residence permit for Japan, and other supporting materials required by the consulate.
