You need to go to a qualified pet hospital where you can get your dog injected with hydrophobia vaccine. Then you need to get a vaccine certificate from the hospital. After that, you need to acquire the quarantine certificate from Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service.

After you go through the checkpoint, your dog will be isolated for around 30 days. If it is proved that your dog is healthy, then you can pick him/her up. You may enter from Guangzhou because pets that enter from Guangzhou are not required to be isolated for 30 days.
