About:Beijing Railway Station

About carrying baggage

I'm interested in a D2003 from Beijing to Taiyuan on 02.03.2015. Is there any baggage allowance in a 1st class? I have 40kg with me, is it possible to go by D2003?

I have travelled by D-trains before in China. Each passenger can take 20kg carry-on baggage for free. The total length of each item should not exceed 160cm. But usually it is not as strict as flight. You can go the station in advance to check your luggage in time.
