About:Hong Kong Visa Policy

Will be staying in Hong Kong for a holiday and would like to travel to China via rail.

this could be for a day trip or staying for a few days. Do I require a visa?

Yes, you need to apply for an L type in advance. The following materials are to be submitted to the CVASC office in the UK: your valid passport, a photocopy of the passport's data page, a filled application form affixed with your recently taken color photo, and roundtrip tickets and hotel reservations.
