Does anyone really know if the sheep is a goat, a ram, or a sheep for the Chinese Zodiac?

I heard that people still are not certain about what the sheep really is in the Chinese Zodiacs...please help!

In Chinese zodiac, sheep/goat/ram are not classified that clearly and all of them are OK for us. But I personally like sheep, as it's more tender and nice.
