About:China Tourist Visa

best place to apply for china tourist visa. hong kong, kuala lumpur or hanoi?

i'm from Holland and travelling in Asia. Want to go to China in april. What is the best place to apply for a chinese tourist type? Hongkong, kuala Lumpur or Hanoi? Is it better to do it yourself or let some office do the work? Can we get an entry permit longer than 1 month? What do we need to get the entry permit?

Martha, I think you may try to apply from the Chinese CVASC centers in Kuala Lumpur. The duration of stay is usually 30 days. If you plan to stay longer time, you may apply for double or multiple-entry type. Or you can extend your single entry one after you reach China. In your situation, you need to apply for a L type. It requires your passport, application form, a recent passport photo, return air tickets, hotel booking and your legal stay proof in Malaysia.
