Hi, We are in Shanghai now, and would like to take a flight from Shanghai to Zhengzhou. Is there any other airport close to Shaolin temple? Which hotel is closer to Shaolin temple? We are interested to visit Shaolin temple only. Pls help.RegardsManasi

No. the Zhengzhou airport is the nearest and best option. After landing, you can board the direct bus to Dengfeng and then transfer to a taxi to the temple directly. For accommodation, you can stay in a hotel in the scenic area. I know the Zen Hotel, which is only 10min walking distance to the main entrance of Shaolin Temple.
