About:Kunming Travel

We plan to visit Kunming from 19 to 30 Sep 2015.

How is the weather ? Any special events during this period ? Where to see the minority cultures ?

It is cool, and the average temp is about 68 F. There will be light rain.
At that time, there is no big events as I heard so far. If you are interested in minority culture, you can go to the Minority Groups Villiage (Minzucun), located at No.1310 of Dianchi Road. There are some minority dwellers in Stone Forest scenic area.

In September the average low and high temperatures are respectively 15 °C (59 °F) and 23 °C (73 °F). It rains less than in the summer, and the weather is fine.

Clothing: T-shirts and long trousers are appropriate for sunny days in September, and with a moderate wind, it is not too hot or too cool. On rainy days, a light coat, rain gear, and long trousers are recommended.
