I am from India. I need student visa for one year to study in Nanjing? What need to be done?

First you should get admitted by a shcool. Then ask your school to offer you the JW201 or 202 form. Next, prepare your passport, a photocopy of the passport, a filled application form, a recently taken color bareheaded photo, the original and photocopy of your admission letter and the form, a personal statement, and other relevant materials required by the consular officer. Last, go to the respective CVASC and apply for an S1 type.0
